Paradise Rescued B1ockOne Bordeaux Cabernet Franc is an almost unique wine from one of the most prestigious and largest vineyards in the world. Cabernet Franc is one of the three main grape varieties used in Bordeaux blends but less well known than Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Less than a dozen 100% Bordeaux Cabernet Franc wines are produced.

After three very successful years in Bordeaux, 2017 was a tougher vintage. Following a late frost in late April, the weather turned very hot throughout June before heavy rain fell. The harvest was again early but with heterogeneous fruit which required a lot of manual work to harvest it.

Above all, this organic wine is fruity and easy to drink in the Paradise Rescued tradition, with nice tastes of black cherries and the length in the mouth of Bordeaux Cabernet Franc.

Alc 13,5%

Boss's comment

"Despite the weather and conditions of the season, B1ockOne 2017 carries well all our traditions of a fruity, elegant wine to drink alone or with a good dish. The wine is easy to drink now but it will gain more complexity and sweetness with age." David Stannard, owner."
